happy thursday. aren't you proud; i haven't used a time reference all week. until now. (pssst...next week is october. how did you sneak up on us so quickly?)
of course amanda and i love the new/first issue of rue magazine. i mean, we called each other twice the day of the premiere, went through every page, read it together (over the phone and then again in person), and had smiles ear to ear. we are so excited to have another shelter magazine in our lives. especially one with such great content and graphics. go ahead and try to flip through the pages just one time...dare you.
i was going to blog about my favorite interiors from it, but quite honestly, it's just too hard for me to pick only one. so, i went the jewelry route. elva fields. mainly because the styles are so awesome, and also because elva was the name of my grandmother, too! i am loving the name references of the company and how meaningful that can be. i also love how emily, the owner from alabama, uses flea markets and antique stores as main sources for her finds. just like furniture. fashion and interiors are so closely related, and this is a perfect example. i can see amanda and myself using some of these colors as inspiration for our next project. (wheels turning...). of course most of these fabulous finds are sold out. as they should be. here are some of my personal favorites. jolene.
