ok, so there was a giant earthquake yesterday for those who didn't turn on your tv or look on the internet in the past 12 hours. we happened to be on the 7th floor of a building in san diego, close to the epicenter, and let me tell you, it was super scary i almost started to cry. when your building is shaking and you feel like you have no control, everything really gets put into perspective. i'm very grateful there were very few fatalities in this particular earthquake. now, i'm waiting for 'the' aftershock they keep mentioning...
to back up a bit, amanda and i went to the outlet shops in camarillo on saturday. we specifically wanted to take a peak at restoration hardware to see what their outlet hardware section included. now that i have newly painted cabinets, they are missing that component, so i am trying to find some finds. we didn't come across any hardware that would work for my kitchen, but we did find some great robe hooks that will be used for our offices and bedroom in a unique way...stay tuned for those diy projects. in the car on the way home, we were talking to our close friend about her pregnancy, and she let us know she is having a little girl! so excited for her. she said she got her bedding at serena and lily. i immediately plugged that name into my head knowing there would be a blogging opportunity this week. and i behold. serena and lily. of course, i haven't ever shopped for baby room bedding, but it would be hard to narrow down a selection from this company. so cute and perfect. i hope everyone enjoyed their easter weekend! jolene.
