I had the pleasure of playing personal shopper for a good friend last weekend. She has great taste and style but confessed that when she gets her purchases home she can never figure out how to put them together! As you know, I'm a proponent of purchasing great classic pieces and layering in trends and fun, less expensive finds. We started with the classics on Saturday. Here's a selection of the staples we came up with! I'd say if you're feeling like your wardrobe needs a revamp then start with the items shown here, a navy blazer, a camel cashmere sweater, great comfy ballet flats, etc. etc. I'll share the next look she scored tomorrow!
