martha. martha. martha.

let's start out with a recap of our weekend. i feel like i have so much to say, but i can't really say anything at all. domicile got great news late last week that we will hopefully be able to share very soon. in the mean time, know it is good. it is better than good. it is fantastical.

on top of that non existent information, we were lucky enough to attend our friend krista browne's baby shower. she is such a sweet, wonderful person, and i can't wait for her to be a mother of her little girl. she is going to kick ass at that mommyhood thing. while at her amazing pad, i was thinking...when/if i become a mother, will i 'nest' prior to that? i'm not necessarily a clean-er or a put-away-er, so what if that part of the process just passes me by? just my luck. part of me wants to have a baby just to nest so i can get some things done around that house. too far? ok, maybe. anyway, i was thinking about being organized all weekend, and what better place to look at organized spaces other than martha stewart? check out these clever kitchen organizing skills. jolene.

if you happen to open the doors below my sink, they will look nothing like this. not only is this a perfect way to use all of your vertical space, but the supplies are hot pink. so designer-y.

a brown paper bag. so simple. and cheap. scratch that. affordable. AND a label? this is just what i need to survive in my small, unorganized kitchen.

this is a very genius way to take charge of your disheveled recipes. think about it. every time you have your recipe card on the countertop, doesn't it get water on it while you are preparing food? well, mine do. it would be nice to have this plastic cover for protection.

i am really enjoying the colorful cap on this copper rod. who says connection pieces cannot be good looking?

this shot reminds me of home. baskets of hand picked goodness makes me want a garden very badly.
