jadeite cake stands

it rained all weekend here in socal which means the flea market this weekend was rained out. early sunday morning as i gazed into my bathroom mirror with sad eyes, a slow tear slowly rolling down the right side of cheek. no shopping no searching no vintage one of kind must have items to look out for! sigh......ok, that didn't actually happen! i was kinda sad about the rain out though. fortunately last friday while flipping through the usual gossip / fashion mags while treating my poor scalp to a torturous two hour root job. i came across this cute company called poshchicago. com. it's kinda like going to a 5 minute mini flea market...awww the itch has been scratched. kinda.

i'm absolutely in love with these jadeite table accessories. so pretty! they will look amzing with my vintage mid-cent, mod gold and white china my father is bringing to me for Christmas. can't wait to set the table. only five days til christmas! xo amanda

if you are close to me you will know that i am a collector of silver. i l.o.v.e. to polish silver. i guess i just love the shiny reward at the end. i love finding a piece of silver at the market that looks like it hasn't been polished in 100 years. i like to polish it right when i get home. ok. whatever, i know it's weird. we all have are things we do! right?

i need a glass of water right now...it's a new commitment. drink more water.

of course anything with a monogram is up my alley. i'm still on the search for some vintage item with my letters! someday i will find you! aMs
