TODAY, I'm posting some of my favorite nurseries that I've pulled for my design library. I know this nursery has been blogged about a thousand times before but I have to give it my own props.... it is JUST TOO COOL. I love the animal motif carried through-out the room in the graphics, window treatment, art, upholstery on the chair (i'm obsessed with that chair!), and rug. The icy blue walls and neon pink/orange carpet tiles are such an electric combination and the whole room just screams fun baby. I LOVE...

This one is also too much fun. I love the red feature wall with the playful animal prints and and dolls. The vintage Arne Jacobsen chair is understated chic and I love all the texture in the upholstery, throw, lamp shade and rug. I admire the combo although I'm not sure if I would be scared to sleep next to that masked zebra or not!

How amazing is this vintage crib this designer and new mother used for her son's nursery. She found the amazing piece in an antique store and later discovered it was manufactured in 1895 by J & J Kohn. She had it stripped and repainted with custom liners and liner. The designer, Chloe Warner, shied away from lots of color and instead went with a very sophisticated neutral palette which is a nice change of pace. Saara - do you approve of the wooden toy!

And I think this nursery, by JUTE Interior Design in Mill Valley, is one of the coolest that I've seen. I love the camo wallpaper and striped rug. The pops of green and yellow are fresh and invigorating. I don't feel like going, "ahhh" but rather, "COOL!" I think this is definitely the sort of baby room a kid could grow into which was the wish of the San Francisco homeowner. Really well done.

And lastly, this is a GEORGE Interior Design Nursery in New York City. The shelves next to the cabinet (which is actually a Murphy Bed!) were existing so we used them to create a wall break with a chair rail. We painted everything above the chair rail green and everything below white to keep the tiny space feeling as large as possible. The crib and changing table (which you can't see) added contrast against all the white and the lamp from Crate and Barrel, rug from PB Kids and Bedding added FUN!
