i really love the simplicity of this room, utilizing the color black in furniture and accessories with medium wood tones is always one of my favorites. i really like the screen here too. It is shorter than usual and i like the simple trim. i probably would have thrown some gold or silver in there as an accent. i think it always give a room the feel of being complete. amanda
this outdoor setting is so casual i just want to sit out there in those lavender cushioned chairs and have an afternoon drink with friends or family. also love the crewelwork tablecloth and that wood star burst. i have to say i haven't come across one quite like that one. it feels very sixties to me.
i fell in love with this image as a color pallet.
my whole career i have been a fan of the Greek key. even before it became crazy popular a few year back with the onset of wearstlers glamorama rage. it is a constant classic and paired with this buttery mustard leather on this stool is oh so nice.
as jolene can attest the tizio lamp from artemide is one of the items that is in my "instant classic" file. i love it paired with very traditional item as it is here.this image takes me back to my days in the bay area working down on the peninsula when i work very high-end residential. we resourced and secured many antique tapestries for our clients there and many of our clients wanted that spanish or italianate feel.
