| I'm sure you've heard about the sad passing of Beastie Boy hip hop trio member, Adam Yauch. Adam was only 47. I was going to post May's music choice today, so I couldn't think of a better selection. I grew up listening to the Beastie Boys. (I think I'm dating myself). I'd say Licensed to Ill reminds me more of drinking in the woods in (you know you all had those "hot spots" with crazy names like "The Plateau" in H.S. - or maybe not, we absolutely did) High School then any other album and Paul's Boutique of college. (Run DMC and Madonna are very close seconds). |
