Horse art....

 

As I am sure you know I have a weakness for artwork with horses.  I saw these new pieces from Lisa at Kiki and Polly on line I was thinking how cute they would be in a job... love them.  But I was thinking also that there must be more horse art lovers out there like me.  So here are a few of my favorites.  I like to share!

Kate Spade at home

 

It is so fun to see creative people in their homes.  Kate Spade's home is really fun and whimsical.  I love the use of artwork which seems to make a statement in every space.  The colors are bold and inspiring.

Southern Living Charleston Idea House

Not sure I've mentioned this but my friend and I have been taking a photography class. We have weekly sessions with a teacher who foucuses on what we want to learn that week. It has been so much fun! I just hope that I retain what I am learning as this is a great life-long (yet ever-evolving) skill to have!

I love the idea of using family photos in a home but I am not big on cluttering up your walls with lots of tiny photos. So I am loving this idea of blowing up one great photo, especially if it is a non-possed, non-professional photo. I am working on this idea for a bachelor pad I am working on and found a couple of online sites that do enlargements homedecorbyme.com and wizardprints.com.

Why? I have no idea.

But I played lots of sports growing up and was always jersey number 14.

You can find old signs, gas station numbers, etc. online or at flea markets. I have a "0" from the old Roper Hospital. Or you can always make your own like this clever designer did.

I am helping a friend/client who is getting a new puppy (technically a yellow lab not a Golden but I am obsessed with Goldens and have been collecting these pics for a while). So we are designing everything in his place to be puppy friendly and yellow lab color. (Kidding....kinda)

Lee Kleinhelter's white Golden, Rider, is practically famous. I love that she includes him in many of her interior shots!
