Window Treatments with Pizzaz

Today's Monday Mashup is a recap of my trip to the Denver Design Center last week.

Wesco Fabrics presented their motorized Haute Couture Runday fabrics and window treatments.  Inspired custom window treatments inspired by runway fashions constructed with their newest fabrics just added to Wesco's great fabric line.

What Color of Blue are You?

As we continue our focus on [BLUE] Royalty and Fashion Week, I'd like to share a few galleries I have created on Olioboard.

First, take a look at a Lighting Gallery created with products from IKEA.

My inspiration behind this gallery comes from the True Blue Collection only offered at limited IKEA locations.  Each piece shown above is from IKEA and can be found online.

Next is a paint gallery filled with blue colors from Benjamin Moore for you to choose from.  Which collection of blues is your favorite, four to choose from?  Each accessory item, including the upholstered bench you see, is from West Elm.

On a different note:

This week I had the opportunity to join in on a Twitter Chat with kbtribe, led by lighting expert & designer James Bedell.  James is based in New York City and launched JPB Lighting in 2011, an independent lighting design firm specializing in special events such as theatrical productions & launch parties for major corporations. The lighting industry is a facsinating one, evolving as quickly or quicker as the computer world.  I look forward to sharing about lighting in future posts. 

Also, I am really excited to share news about an upcoming blogging feature for the month of October that Snob Interior Design is participating in.  Details will follow as soon as I have them.

Paris In Fashion

Today we introduce the final fabric from the pin board of An American In Paris, Fab Fabric curated collection.

A fantastic rich raspberry, what a nice color for all fabrics to POP!

Here's a great example of how raspberry can really complement all other colors in a design with some Paris fashion inspiration...

Cayman - Raspberry is a great durable fabric that covers ottomans and pillows perfectly.

Time for our final bit of movie trivia.

Pinned Collection; An American In Paris

Today Snob Interior Design brings you the entire collection of An American In Paris pinned together. 

Today we feature Madagascar - Tropics.

This lovely lime green embroidered linen blend adds just the right  pop of color to this predominately pink, black & white collection.  The repeat of the geometric is fantastic on larger scale pieces, great big pillows would be neat.
