Fashion+Decor = [BROWN+GOLD]

Pantone is the "Ruler" of all colors.  When they say French Roast & Honey Gold are colors for this Fall, that's what we will see.

Today's Monday Mashup math lesson is Michael Kors + Mark Gillette Interior Design = [Brown & GOLD]

A warm neutral palette not just for fall, but can stay year round.

All day I will be sharing Michael Kors style on

A talented Designer with amazing style showing us how to go [Brown & GOLD].

Of course all week I will share more [Brown & GOLD] Interior Design via social media.

A Nice [BURGUNDY] to Wear

On this fine Monday we meet [BURGUNDY].

Not to be confused with...

Ron Burgundy of the movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

Or...

A lovely glass of burgundy wine.
(sounds really good right now)

Todays Monday Mashup combines Interior Design by Barclay Butera and Designer Fashions from FarFetch.com created on Olioboard

It has been many years since we have seen [BURGUNDY] make a comeback.

I've always been a little old school and there are colors and fashions I will always love!  [BURGUNDY] is one of them.
I found a beautiful coat and pair of flats five years ago in [BURGUNDY], still wear them today!

Interior Design is in Style with [BLUE] Royalty

This weeks post of Monday Mashup is [BLUE] Royalty.

A beautiful blue velvet tufted sofa paired with a sketch I worked on in College for my Apparel Design Degree.

Funny how fashion and colors come back around.

Tufted velvet is so hard to resist, gorgeous!  The colorful books on the shelves are the perfect balance for a contemporary piece hanging on the back of the door.

Now typically my pairing is a little more professional than the model a green dress with a neat plaid jacket.  While perusing photos of fashion week, a few shots reminded me of college days and apparel design classes.  Seeing bright blues on the runway made me think of a particular assignment so many years ago of a design including lorem ipsum text for an ad. Feel like I've gone back in time.

Take a look at these runway shots...

Here are a few rooms from Lonny Magazine.

This week I will be sharing more designs with Olioboard adding to Style Files with a Lighting Gallery, Paint Gallery and an inspirational moodboard with [BLUE] Royalty.

Have a super week!

Monday Mashup with Gorgeous [GREIGE]

I hope everyone is enjoying their Holiday weekend!

Today's Monday Mashup is brought to you by the letter G.

Gorgeous [GREIGE]

Mixing of the colors gray & beige are always so soft.  Toned down neutral colors for an easy pallet.

The Wiktionary states:

Adjective

greige
  1. (of textiles) Unfinished; not fully processed; neither bleached nor dyed.
The rolls of greige cloth sat on the factory floor waiting to be printed.

Designer David Jiminez mixes these tones so well with a masculine look.

Our STYLE FILES outfit & accessories in [GREIGE] by Chloe show very well with a more feminine chic look.

Stay tuned later this week for more from the STYLE FILES of Gorgeous [GREIGE].

We will take a look at photos from a thrifting/antique trip, additional designs by David Jiminez and more.

Also, the Snob Blog is sporting a fresh new look...

Monday Mashup

Welcome to a new series called

It's the pairing of Interior Design & Fashion.

See how current runway fashions coincide with current interior design.  Color & style trends go hand in hand each year with the highly anticipated Pantone forecast eagerly awaited by all!

Todays feature of Snob Interior Design STYLE FILES: [EMERALD] City, pairs Snob's lastest Olioboard with the jeweled green shade of J.Crew's current collection and William-Christopher Design

This Dallas based Interior Designer believes, "A room should be equally appetizing when filled with people or when you're there alone.  It's your taste that makes a room seductive." -Billy Baldwin

How about you...do you have a Mashup of your own?

Are the colors of your home similar to the colors you like to wear daily basis?
