They did it again...

I gobbled up every bit of the new issue of Trad home last night. The latest online magazine collaboration between Lonny's creative team and Traditional Home did not disappoint. I loved reading about each and every one of the "20 New Traditionals" they selected. I'm sure most of you spent a few moments {or hours} last night checking it out yourselves, but how could I fail to mention the home above? It's gorgeous. I love the finishes, refined color palette, vignettes, and vintage finds incorporated; every last detail is wonderful. December - Book of the Month

This month's recommended read is a no-brainer. {i'm sure you've seen it on Blogland already}  It's Style by Lili Diallo. Lili was one of the fabulous stylists behind the beautiful pages of Domino. What better to help you with your home then secrets from the best. If I hadn't become a designer I think I would have opted to be a Shelter or Fashion magazine stylist. They create amazing moments with their creative eye and ingenious ideas. Love it! This one is on my holiday "wish list" for sure. Books are one of my favorite gifts to give and receive!

Isn't Lili's logo great?? so original!

A glimpse of Lili's work:

{damn there's that Chesterfield again!}

Great Magazines Live...

Was anyone as disappointed as I was when Domino Magazine said farewell?

I was so excited this morning when I received Tobi Fairley's latest blog post in my unread list of emails.  My favorite Interior Designer is posting a her favorite things every day for the month of February.  The latest post on day 19 is on the new Lonny Magazine.

I began scanning through the pages of their latest publication online and found myself clicking on the next page quicker and quicker so excited to view what would be on the next page.  It was just like eating a warm chocolate chip cookie with walnuts, impossible to eat slowly it's so good!

I think this magazine is better than Domino.  One of my favorite things to do is flip through a design magazine, I cannot wait to see their first two issues.  I will be up late tonight for sure.
