Coral Jeans

Like many of my fellow bloggers, I've been loving the colored denim trend. I couldn't decide which color I wanted, until I stumbled across the perfect coral pair at Aritzia. Unfortunately, they were over $200. On trends, I refuse to spend alot of money because you never know how long they will be around. Luckily for me, Garage had a nearly identical pair for only $40. You can bet I snapped those up. Here's how I plan on styling my new pants:

Have you jumped aboard this trend? What color would you choose?

Rocq Macarons.. {love}

I stopped by Rocq cafe yesterday for lunch and had an amazing quiche, but I also came home with a box of these little beauties.  I love the Spring colors and these are some of my favorites.

They make wonderful gifts (I usually eat them all myself though)!

Stop by their shop and see what's new.  Also they are now offering free shipping!

Paris in the Spring...

I am so missing Paris right now..  I love to visit in the spring!  I have had many emails as of late asking to share my favorite places in Paris and France so I thought that I would put together a post this coming week with all of the things that make Paris my favorite city.

I would love to have you share your favorites too!  I am sure those who are traveling this coming year would like a glimpse into what makes the city so special to so many people.

Wishing you a dream filled Saturday!

These are the sweet treats that my hubby brought me back from his trip just a few short weeks ago.

Love Laduree....

Gardens of Portugal

I was just remembering a wonderful garden that I visited in Portugal a few years back.  Day dreaming about it really.  It was the most amazing place that I think I have ever been to.   These are just a few pictures of the many many structures that made up the space.  It was something that we just happened upon after lunch one day.  Our waiter at lunch recommended that we go by and see it and we spent much of the afternoon exploring the huge terraced grounds and taking photos.

It reminds me of the coming of Spring and inspires me to get outside and make some changes!

First Day of Spring...and, oh yeah, my Birthday.

We have a beautiful first day of Spring here in Wellington and luckily I have been enjoying it on my day off (yes, because it is my birthday). Enjoy the glow of Spring and the warmth that will follow. Happy Friday all.

Spring Looks from Pale & Interesting

While it is not officially Spring yet, one cannot miss that there is warmth to the air, less need to wear the heavy woollen coat and that it is getting lighter in the evenings. It does feel very promising indeed that Spring is not far off. Here are some Spring/Summer images from the Pale & Interesting look book -  a mix of vintage, prettiness, personality and relaxed living.
Check out Pale & Interesting for their great online store and for the work of stylist, Atlanta Bartlett and furniture and interior designer, Dave Coote.
