Holiday Decorating Creative and Inspiring

Add touches of Holiday Cheer in any room or space.

I'm crazy about tablescapes and always looking for new and unique ways to put together beautiful designs.

The first design above is inspired by an apron from Hen House Linens.  The lines of this Bargello  pattern and the apple green color are perfection.  I love mixing and layering multiple patterns and colors.  The consistency of colors makes this design work with such an eclectic collection.
Another eclectic collection is this design I call Bistro Tablescapes.  Inspired by Tobi Fairley's Bistro Fabric from Tobi Fairley Home.   Vintage, contemporary, casual and formal.  Again it's the consistency of colors that make it all work together.   The Holidays do not have to be traditional colors.  Anything goes now, it's just being a little creative and daring.  Make Christmas decor in your favorite colors, it's okay.

I am in LOVE with these Betty Arm Chairs from CR Laine.  A lovely little seating area that says it's the Holiday Season.

If you're looking for unique and new ideas, contact me to create a virtual Holiday Design for you with a shopping guide that includes pricing and links.

Top Off Your Christmas

Are you tired of the same old tree topper? The same star stuck on the top of the tree year after year?

Try something new...

Rather than one item on the top of the tree, try glittery branches extending out of the top. I love mixing dry natural branches with ones covered in glitter.

Here, I have green plum tree lit flowers mixed with red gerber daisies, green glittery feathers and leaves. I just plugged the flowers in with the tree lights.

Whatever your color and theme may be, try something new. Large snow flake ornaments tucked in the branches and at the bottom of the tree with the wrapped packages.

Birds are always a favorite. Tuck bird cages in the front of the tree and add birds nests and birds all throughout the tree in addition to the ornaments you already have collected over the years.

Don't be afraid to try something new, you just may surprise yourself. Everyone will want you to decorate their tree.
Happy Decorating!
