good news...it's still my birthday month. am i the only one who is obsessed with my birthday? say it ain't so.
ok, so i'm out of my rut that i was in yesterday. i felt so badly for those who came to the blog with high expectations only to find one picture from polyvore. i thought about it all day. so i'm back. although today is officially 'book' day, i decided to switch it up a bit...don't tell amanda. i thought you would be interested in seeing teasers of my office. we are sooo close. i mean so close to being completed. just hemming of the drapery, hanging art, and possibly vacuuming. keep in mind the time of day these pictures were taken: night. why? because it gets dark so early. ok, no more snarky. i had to alter the images a tad due to the lack of natural light, but i think you get the idea. the last picture is of my beautiful kitty, gizzy. she's a little furry peanut whom i shall call busy gizzy. she's the same maniac who decided it was a good idea to claw my newly upholstered, in-my-house-for-less-than 24 hours dining room chairs. but look at that face. it's hard to punish. i'm also posting a picture of her as a kitten (i totally cropped out the video game controller she was sitting next to. so embarrassing, husband.). i was going to go one step further and post her as a shaved kitty, but i didn't know my audience yet. you may hate cats, and with 30% of the pictures of cats, i didn't want to scare you away. on to the show...jolene.
